I am a communication professional than nine years of professional experience including strategic communication, government communication, corporate communication, CSR project planning, internal communication, publication development, project management, community engagement, corporate events, digital and print marketing, advertising and media relations. I have a certificate in organizational communication for leadership from Michigan State University, and in August 2023, I’ll have earned my M.A. in strategic communication, too.

Oakland County 40 Under 40 Awardee
The Oakland County Executive’s Oakland Together 40 Under 40 program recognizes and spotlights dynamic leaders under the age of 40 who are making a difference in Oakland County and beyond. The program is open to individuals who live or work in Oakland County.
Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society Member
The nation’s oldest and most selective multidisciplinary collegiate honor society, Phi Kappa Phi was founded in 1897 at the University of Maine. It is a global network of the best and brightest, a community of scholars and professionals building an enduring legacy for all generations.
Founded Royal Oak Schools Communications Department
Hired as the metro Detroit school district’s first communication lead. Established a department and created a new video co-op position for high school students.
Launched new careers site for Faurecia North America
Developed content for and managed the updates through an online content management system for a new regional careers website. This included mining for stories, developing and organizing the structure of the website, writing employee profiles and producing new videos that highlighted what the organization had to offer potential employees.
2013 First Place Writing Excellence Award Winner: Multimedia
The OU Writing Excellence Awards are open to all undergraduate students at Oakland University who have composed work for writing and rhetoric courses.
2012-2013 Briggs-Bunting Freedom of the Press Award recipient
